HCR 2001 — The Fast, Accurate, Secure, Transparent (FAST) Election Results Act
↓The FAST Election Results Act would enshrine four common sense election integrity requirements directly into the Arizona Constitution. It declares that only U.S. citizens may register and vote in Arizona elections, prohibits foreign nationals from contributing or spending anything of value to influence an Arizona election, requires every voter to show valid government-issued photo ID before casting a ballot regardless of voting method, and guarantees every voter the option to have their ballot tabulated on-site at their polling location on Election Day. Instead of mailing in the ballot, the voter can show up to the polls on election day, show valid ID, remove the ballot from the envelope, and tabulate it themselves, preventing administrative delays, speeding up results, and resulting in more people showing ID before casting a ballot in-person.
With the FAST Election Results Act: Only citizens can vote, Voter ID is required regardless of how you vote, foreign funding of our elections is prohibited, and all counties must provide voters the option to have their ballot tabulated on election day at the voting location. That means Fast, Accurate, Secure, and Transparent (or FAST) Election Results!

Vote YES on Prop XXX!
Arizonans deserve elections that are Fast, Accurate, Secure, and Transparent. The FAST Election Results Act delivers exactly that by enshrining four common-sense protections directly into our state constitution where they can't be repealed by a simple legislative majority.
First, this measure makes clear what every Arizonan already believes: only U.S. citizens should vote in our elections. Roughly 90% of Americans agree with that, and we need to make sure our constitution reflects it.
Second, Prop XXX requires valid government-issued photo ID for every voter, regardless of how they cast their ballot. Approximately 84% of Americans support photo voter ID. Arizona's existing ID law lives only in statute meaning a simple majority in the legislature could get rid of them. The FAST Election Results Act locks it in permanently.
Third, it bans foreign nationals from spending anything to influence Arizona elections. Federal law already prohibits this, but enforcement gaps at the state level leave us exposed. Arizona deserves its own constitutional firewall.
Fourth, it guarantees every voter the option to have their ballot tabulated on Election Day at their polling location. In 2022, Maricopa County's tabulation dragged on for nearly two weeks because of ballots dropped off on election day, fueling widespread doubt. On-site tabulation means results Arizonans can trust by election night.
These reforms are common sense, widely supported, and mean accurate results on election night.
